The evil genius of a good PR stunt being swallowed hook, line and sinker is a thing to behold.

I find the whole concept pretty revolting.

It's actually a honeypot site created by SmartPeople.com to keep undesirables out of the way and distracted.

Is this for real? It sounds like a joke to me.

I think you have me confused with someone handsome and/or dashing.

Also, I wear a fedora unironically. So, there's that to consider as well.

Sadly, this isn't really new though. It sounds just like all of those looks-based LJ communities like the nonuglies. To join you need to submit pictures and have the community vote on whether or not you could join based on your looks. I don't know what else they did besides that to be quite honest. I think the other times they'd just post posts with pictures of themselves all "Hi guyz! This is the new dress and hairpin I bought, so decided to model it for you" and have everyone else either goes "omg, that's sooo presh" or "Your new haircut makes your face look fat. I used to think you were nonugly, but maybe you just had a good haircut" and so on and so forth. Teenaged me used to regularly go through them because they consistently delivered the lulz with their drama.
