I liked it! I think we know by now Russell Davies' specials are always sentimental and over the top, but it was fun to watch.

Was amusing to see John Simm mugging it up in all those ill-fitting costumes.

I think I'm going to miss John Simm almost as much as David Tennant. I'm mildly addicted to his brand of TEH CRAZY and the way he clearly has such fun chewing through the scenery all the time. Also the eyeliner. The eyeliner helps.

Doesn't come on here for another hour which is much better than when SciFi (or whatever they call themselves) aired them six months after BBC did.

Just watched it. It was better than the first half, still didn't make any sense but it's Dr. Who so you expect that. I just hope that they'll get some new characters and stop going back to the old one's.

After Part One a lot of people expected this to set up a future story arc with some old enemies, but Part Two really did kind of 'clean slate' it. And the long goodbyes at the end suggest the New Doc won't be dealing much with old friends.

But did the whole thing go at a breakneck pace and then suddenly slow to a crawl halfway through? It was almost as if somebody realized "we're running out of story and there's most of an hour to fill!"

Still, it was quite a ride, but probably better for those who had followed the Good Doc a lot more closely than I have up to now...

I enjoyed it, especially the way the doctor's ultimate sacrifice. From the brief glimpse of the new doctor, I can't wait for the new season.
