The Food Network has just started on TV here. We've had UK TV Food for a while, which shows a few FN shows (Barefoot Contessa) but now we have many more, including jonmc's TV girlfriend, Rachael Ray, all the competition shows (Iron Chef, Chopped, Challenge, etc.) and The Best Thing I Ever Ate, as a result of which I must now eat Burnt Ends on Bun before I die. I would definitely have a foodgasm eating that.

When they played "Master Chef" on this side of the pond, Mrs. B and I were amused by hearing one of the judges identified as a "fruit & veg expert".

That's the shouty bloke, Gregg Wallace, isn't it? Can't stand him. At least John Torode is a proper chef.

On FN I can't stand Alton Brown. What a knob.
