MeFi makes/ruins the day! Stupidly, I'm working today. We shouldn't be open. We're pretty dead. But a customer just came in and asked us, "Hey, why don't you guys have any Christmas carols playing?"

Pink Stainless Tail's classic "Jingle Rock Bell" is now on repeat at a pretty high volume. We'll see how long he lasts. Hell, I don't know how long I'll last.

UPDATE: dang, he thought it was great.

Jingle Rock Bell is on every Christmas mix I make. It's considered a modern classic 'round these parts.

(and by "parts" I mean my living room)

I continue to be amazed by how few times PST fucked up and said Bingle Jell, or Ringle Bock Jell. When the girls insist that I sing along in the car, I mess up A LOT.

I love Jingle Rock Bell! It's been the final bonus track on my Christmas mixes for the past two or three years. I never tired of it.

I played this in the car today on my two-hour drive to be with family. It always makes me smile.
