Wicked fun Name That Tune game to play on the Tubes →[More:]Get one or more to play.

Go to this website, or any other that lists pop charts for the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Pick a year.

Have your partners hang out where they can't see the screen.

Take the #1 song of the year, and Google up the artist and song, and start playing it on YouTube or iLike. They have to Name That Tune in 1 minute or less. You just tell them the year.

Continue down the charts, keeping score.

Reminisce.

We could do something almost like this on MetaRadio. First person to identify each song playing gets one point (honor system not to look at the tag display on the radio page - but since it takes anywhere from a few seconds to almost a minute to update a new song, you'd still be behind anybody who recognizes it right away by ear). It'd give me an excuse to play some of the Big Hits From The '60s '70s and '80s that I have but might otherwise be ashamed to play (musical packrat habit left over from when I'd take home surplus promo records from the radio stations I worked for).
