Wave says Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times. Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick. but I've added you to the list. Invite will come from a different ID.

I've made a public wave for metachat. Just search for "with:public metachat".
There you can try it out with other metachatties.

I watched the short intro video some time ago and I'm still not quite sure what it is: a private virtual wiki mind-mapper tool for small groups? Anyway, if you've got some to spare, I'd like to try one. Thanks!

As I just said in there, DF, it's like Basecamp with an interface built out of bits of Google Mail and Google Chat.

I generally like Google but not all of their applications wow me (and their integration tends to be fair to poor at best). This one seems like it has potential, but it's not an instant win.

I wondered why typing into the message box was so slow and then noticed that I could see someone else typing in his/her message in real time. That's sort of cool but sort of useless too.

Hmm, it appears to be very hard to give all your invites away - I had 16, gave away 2, now I have 23. Either Google sucks at subtraction or I do.
