Squeeeee!! In the UK rescued grey squirrels can't be released into the wild because they're not indigenous and are considered a pest. There are a number of shelters that keep injured/orphaned skwerls once they're fit.
I wonder how squirrels handle elimination indoors (not that I know what their deal is outdoors, either). Do they try to go outside, if possible? Do they choose a spot, or just go anywhere, sort of bird-like? Do they try to keep it away from sleeping/eating/frequented areas? Would they choose litter, if available?
