Some jokesters tricked a bunch of hapless Twilight fans into attending a fake New Moon premiere, which then turned into an "intervention".
Mean-spirited? Yes.
Funny? Also yes.
Your favourite movie sucks.

Wouldn't it be funny if they did the equivalent stunt at a fake Sarah Palin book signing?

Obscure - NO those people like to shoot stuff.

Twilight fans just like to text stuff.

Yeah, I think it would be a lot funnier and a lot more deserved. I guess we'll have to wait for the Sarah Palin Movie.

"hapless Twilight fans" is redundant.

While I find Twilight to be ridiculous and fans of it are to be pitied, I find this particular video to be humorless and mean spirited. I would support a similar prank played on Sarah Palin fans though, because their beliefs and vapidity translate into real world stupidity at the voting booth. And federal election results, unlike Twilight fandom, affects me personally.
