A Message to Portland OR (and Vancouver) Bunnies. . . Tonight, get thee to the Crystal Ballroom and see the Swell Season. Really.→[More:]You will not regret the time and money.

LT (I think) rhapsodised about them in here before, how good this music is, but you really have to experience it to understand. Great sound, great lighting design, Hansard is incredible, etc etc.

Just go by there today and pick up some tickets (in the bar below) and go tonight.

Then report back.

I second this wholeheartedly. I saw them in Portland, and they were absolutely remarkable, amazing, beautiful.

aww dang, i cant tomorrow night . its just as well . according to ticketmaster the only seats available have a limited view and one of those is "under 5'5" "(whatever the hell that means). i guess i'm too tall to go to the show anyway lol

In Eugene, it was general admission. . .floor open, balcony seating. We opted for the balcony with binoculars. Smaller place than the Crystal.

They have been on the road forever and all the songs from Once, it was like they were discovering them for the first time, and having a great time with them.
