I am thankful for my students, who, both in trying my patience and by showing me their potential, give me hope for the future.

I am thankful for my family, even though they drive me absofreakinglutely batty sometimes. I'm thousands of miles away and they work pretty hard to shrink the distance.

I'm thankful for yoga, which is sometimes the only thing that grounds me.

I'm thankful for my for my family as well, because they're so supportive and loving, even when they're making me crazy.

I'm thankful for my bellydance classes, since they get me out of the house and therefore, out of my brain for a bit.

I'm thankful for the love that abounds in my life, my relatively stable financial situation, nature and its beauty, my house, my accomplishments, the challenges I've faced and lived through, and the communities I belong to. I'm thankful for the luck I had to be born into a situation that has allowed me to take advantage of opportunities that not everyone has. I'm thankful for worms, birds, rototillers and compost. I'm thankful that I have health insurance, because without it I'd be bankrupt or very ill. I'm thankful for the connections and relationships that MetaChat and MetaFilter have facilitated.
