I am completely addicted. *thanks*
So how far can you get? I've made it through 21 a couple of times, but never finished 20. Though I've made through the first level with 10 remaining several times, so it seems like I should be able to - unless, in addition to fewer moves, they also make the board harder? Maybe if I ever make it through 20 I can stop playing.
Obsessed, I am. I should be working, making money, paying off the mortgage, but NO! I am playing drench, and I suck at it, because I can never get passed 25, perhaps because the overwhelming guilt that I feel because I am not working prevents me from achieving a better score.
Also, I think I have Drench synesthesia. I hate that lavender. I think lavender is a troublemaker, and a fake goody twoshoes. Red is very busy and I hate to disturb him unless it's really necessary. Yellow is that one kid in the class who's always raising his hand: "oooh, ooh, me, me!" I could totally hang out and drink beer with violet; I try to finish with violet whenever I can. White is a bit of an overachiever, a bit of a type A personality, but generally okay, and green is retiring but dependable and upstanding.
Oh thanks y'all. I needed this SO much. I don't spend enough time at work goofing off and there was a slight risk of productivity today but fortunately that has now been taken care of.
Also, I am awesome at this. Sweet! I like games that my teenager cannot immediately beat me at.
I'm drenched but never quenched... as a longtime fan of Cabeem, I was immediately enticed by the similar look but briefly stymied by the different gameplay. (In Cabeem you click on clusters on the board to score points and as they clear - if you're doing it right - you get bigger clusters worth more points) There's also a similar game (to Cabeem) called Valentine Crush with fancier graphics (hearts!) Right back atcha, taz.
Taz is teh debil, I tells ya.
I have been stuck playing Drench ALLLLLLL day (when I should be packing for our Fangsivin' trip) Octothorpe, are you or the other 'Burgh members up to a meet up? I'll be in for a few days. North Hills, mostly, with some stops at the new Heinz Lofts. I'd love to meet some of my neighbors to the North.
I can't even get TO 24... I think 25 is my best showing so far.
I think the look on my face while I play this game must be like that of old women I've seen playing slot machines at the Tropicana in Vegas. "One more, baby, one more..."
I got to 19 a couple of times. but only got to level 22. I love these simple games. ask me to play anything more complicated and I'm not interested, but things like this and tetris are pretty great.
