Mecha Holiday Card Exchange The time for sign up is here!→[More:]Actually, last year we started sign ups much earlier than this, but eh, whatever. We'll start now and close sign-ups on November 29th.

The deal is: you sign up, you'll get some names to send cards to, and those people will send cards to you! I think last year the groups were 8 people, so you sent 7 cards (mostly US; I try to spread the non-US folks out amongst the groups). It's a lot of fun. I myself cannot participate this year, but I will still facilitate.

Those interested in participating can e-mail me their mailing address, holiday of choice, and any important instructions (i.e. "Don't write my Mecha name on my mail, my Mom will worry" or "Don't forget the third line, it's very important"). Feel free to also shout out in this thread that you're in, to inspire others.

Mine are always store-bought. Last year I bought some lovely ones with bunnies on them, and then couldn't find them, so I had to buy some other ones. Then I found the bunny ones, so will be sending them this year.

Last year Ardiril sent the most beautiful hand-made pop-up winter scenery cards, all glittery. Beautiful. I am so ham-fisted that I could never make anything like that. But it's the thought (and the £10 inside the card) that counts.

I want a piece of this holiday fun. If all goes according to plan - I'll be making my first homemade cards in years (either with marker or a graphics program or some combo of both). "Happy Holidays", Christmas, and/or Festivus work for me. Just sent my info TPS. Thanks for running this.
