Time to embarrass ourselves. So this thread made me look up my old personal site on archive.org. [More:] Thankfully, the very first page I ever made was lost and forgotten mere weeks after it was put up. But the first thing I recall devoting real time and effort to still lives on. The earliest version that survives is the result of many godawful revisions (the first oness definitely had under construction gifs), but it's still very much the relic of the primitive web.

Here it is in all its hand-coded, gif-filled glory. Where do your mid-'90s attempts at web design hide?
MinuteQ started as a proto-blog that I had hoped to turn into a subscription site. Since my traffic was virtually nil, MinuteQ, Mk II became more of a personal scratchpad that was accessible for my own convenience from any computer connected to the internet.

Here. But it only goes back to 1996 and did not find our main server for some reason.

This is the earliest (1999) thing of mine I can find in the Wayback Machine. None of the images load, though, so you'll have to imagine the tastefully-typeset menu items.

Here is the latest with any real content. After that point, it's either the standard 'suspended' (by me, because I couldn't deal with it at the time) page or the spammy page that whoever bought the domain put up.

Here. Since then, I've learned a few tricks, but only enough to modify what web designers make for me to update information.

DHartung's Home Page, '99 edition. Nothing special, I had sloughed off most everything but the blog, which is here. Unfortunately, the squatter on my .nu domain now excludes spidering, so even though it used to be on Wayback it isn't anymore.

No. Nope. Uh-uh. Ain't gonna post it and you can't make me do it.

Here's my front page from 1999ish, that seems to be all they got.

Mine (in Portuguese) looks like the ad flood took over. 1997-1998. It says this on the top: You need at least Netscape and 800 x 600 x High Color to say you access the InterNET! There was supposed to be a link bar on the top frame, but the ad flood pushed it out of sight. It's here .

here is one of the openers to mine... oh dear. Memories. My goodness.

For some classic content goodness, try here and here. Unfortunately, I don't have a complete one up so that you can see the supercool site.
