Odd Blog Thought - Would You.... →[More:]....regularly visit a video blog where the only content were people putting on a pair of jeans?

Listen, if you'd asked me x years ago whether I'd be interested in reading a site that featured passive-aggressive notes, or reviews of microwavable lunches, or undesirable real estate listings, I'd have answered with a resounding "No!"

I don't even know why I came up with this idea, I just thought about how possibly interesting it would be to have a video blog about people putting on their jeans, or maybe having the same pair of jeans on a chair in a room and having different people putting them on.

It's like watching modern dance or something.

Just to kind of tweak, or refine, the concept a little bit... if you replace the people with, say, border collies, and change "putting on a pair of jeans" to "just doing things they ordinarily do" I would totally be there.

It's surprising how long it took me to clue in, but...

This would mean seeing people in their underpants. Not occasionally, but almost by definition. Right?

In that case, I backtrack to my resounding "No!"

What's wrong with seeing people in their underpants?

I thought it would be interesting sociologically to watch the ways in which people put their pants on, and seeing as jeans are the easiest usually, that's what I picked.

People do little dances, little hand flips, funny faces, what-have-you.

Of course, by "people" I mean me. And by me, I mean "border collies."

Oh, I was picturing clips from movies and TV where people are putting on jeans as part of a scene. That might be kind of interesting because it's often a piece of comic business, or alternatively, character development.

It's also a big trope in TV commercials, especially ones for diet products where women are trying to squeeze into a really tight pair.

Yeeeeah, the number of people I want to see in their underpants is very low.

Lots of other people will be delighted by the prospect of seeing strangers' underpants (or lack thereof), and that's swell. Enjoy the underpants! Or lack thereof!

Probably not, although there's nothing wrong with people in their underpants. It's the commando crew I'd be concerned about.

I love watching people get dressed and put on makeup, so probably. Especially if they were attractive people/celebrities.
