Happy Sunday, folks! For those of you with positive thoughts to spare, please send a few my way.→[More:] I have an interview tomorrow at a very prestigious institution, doing the sort of work I'd very much like to do. I'm spending today, reading about the project, taking little breaks to walk around the neighborhood and clear my head, trying on various permutations of my interview suit, and trying to keep my perspective.

What're y'all up to?

Just trained someone for the first time at the station and had someone in Boynton Beach, FL (!!!!) call in and say they loved the show. This is a geographic record for my Sunday radio show.

Just got a sick pair of Sennheiser cans yesterday on deeeeeeeeeeeeeep discount at the mall - less than 15 dollars (orig. over 60 bucks). They noise-isolate, have perfect range, and suddenly the world is like a movie where I'm moving through my own soundtrack.

I'm at work cleaning up our office since the boys left it in serious fucking disarray last week. And dealing with my latest project: this being the guide that I have for about 200 boxes of things that are in no order and were just kinda thrown out here without any real sort of identification except for unrolling every piece and manually checking them.

You have my support, good luck with your interview. Please try to keep your head clear, and not bother yourself so much with what you are going to wear and other relatively unimportant minutiae.
All I have is positive thoughts today. I can definitely spare my abundance with you. :)

Good luck on your interview! I usually do pretty well in interviews, and I find it always helps to be specific and name dates and people you worked with, and just relax and be you.

This afternoon I'm going to the international kite festival, then tonight freezing my butt off at the Rockies game.

I went out today and bought a cute outfit to wear next week when I go salsa dancing for the first time. I also went to Pets at Home for cat food. They had hardly any guinea pigs there today, just one boy in the boy enclosure and one girl in the girl enclosure. (Not that they're cat food, but I just like to look at the guineas.)

Tonight, after watching Come Dine With Me, I'll have an early night. I've got a hellishly busy week coming up.

I am facing a serious case of inertia, so I will probably spend most of the day on the couch, watching football. I think we're smoking a tritip for dinner, so that will be nice. And will require me to venture out at some point to buy thing to eat *with* it.

Oooh many good vibes to you, crush!

My Sunday has been chill. Big sleep in this morning after my big day yesterday (I was still playing pool at a bar at 2am! me!). Got up, hanging with the kiddo, then off to lunch and watch the first half of the Ravens game. Now I'm home (mr. g still at the bar) and baby is napping and I am doing our grocery shopping.

Exciting stuff.

Sending the positive thoughts! You're fantastic, and they'd be lucky to have you working with them.

My day: I was up 'til dawn with back pain, slept late, had nightmares. Now: writing, taking a break to check in here. Broadcast News on in the background. Soon: Physical therapy, verrrrrrrry carefully. Bake a really nice egg bread. More writing. Later: we have an advance DVD of Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell to watch and review.

Despite my infirmity, I pledge to do a go-Crush! dance for good vibes.

Woo, crush, good luck at the interview!!

My Sunday so far has consisted of spending an ungodly amount of time pedaling a bicycle in the cold. My first ever metric century (100km or 62.1mi) and now I ache.

The plan for the rest of the day involves a hot shower, blankets, football on TV, hot chocolate, and take out of some sort for dinner.
