Why do bunnies twitch their noses? The faster it wiggles, the more receptors are exposed. When a rabbit is frightened or excited, its nose may twitch 120 times a second.
Awesome!

The more you know....

I once had a science fiction story where Our Heroes are picked up by an alien ship of blind bunny-like races. All the technology was done via scent and twitch movement, so they had to get good at the smell-and-vibrate equivalent of Windows 95.

Little-known factoid: excessive bunny-nose twitching is the primary cause of forest fires on the planet. Save a forest, relax a bunny!

Wowsers. Good thing they're not pulling any triggers with all that twitching.
