I send Mrs. Beese these kinds of "interspecies love" things all the time too - including this particular pair, if I recall correctly. Who knows what other "Mom" instincts I may be harboring? [BTW, you're reading this too close to the screen. And would it kill you to sit up straight like a normal person?]

Concerning these two: Why would we be the only primates who like dogs?

I don't know how my whippets would take to an elephant. But I hope I never find out.
