Public radio author interviews [More:]Not too long ago (last week, maybe) I read an article headline (could have been on the internet) about a public radio show that concentrates on book reviews and author interviews. The male host has been on the show for a long time (>20 years, I believe). I have never heard the show before now. I don't think it is syndicated. I believe it is a local show, maybe out of Los Angeles, but I could be wrong. It has a pat name like, "Book Ends" or "Bookshelf". Does anybody know what I'm talking about? It's a public radio show that interviews authors and has been around for a long time.

Thanks.
It might be From the Bookshelf but I'm not positive.

This is killing me.

Public radio here has some BBC programming and they have a book/author interview program once a week. It might be this one.

Deep nasal voice? Michael Silverblatt's Bookworm on LA's KCRW!

brujita, that is it! Thanks so much. I literally Googled for an hour straight and didn't find this.

DarkForest, thanks for your link. I'll check that out as well. I'm always looking for more things to listen to while I do some Fall cleaning. I'm a sucker for an accent so it will double the fun.
