Actually, funny anecdote. Once in San Francisco, I was aggressively asked for money by a sockpuppet, who demanded that I "Gimme some money!". The sockpuppet happened to be attached to the arm of a wild-eyed woman who was obviously under the influence of something stronger than just weed. The sock was adorned in no fashion, it was just a dirty tubesock. It had no eyes or other features to speak of, so instead of money, I gave the sockpuppet an "F" for effort.
