Ug, I loathe Bill too. I really wanted them to stick with the OTHER story / ending. I also really wanted to see Eric in pink hot pants... yowza!

To be honest, I thought the finale was kind of a dud.

And for the record: I loathe this version of the vampire queen too. The character was awesome in the books and it all made sense how it was all tied together, Sookie, Hadlie, Bill, Eric, blah blah. I miss Andre! This queen is a obnoxious wannabe pain in the ass, not sophisticated, quiet uber power.

Oh, did anyone see Charlaine Harris' cameo? I'm going to try and catch it later in the week on demand.

...although I totally dug the Sam / Bill plan to get rid of Maryann. Most of the first half hour was ok with me... did anyone else think at the end of it the episode would be over?
