What an interesting guy! It was only recently that I first read a criticism of these engineered grains - suggesting that the mono-culture is dangerously susceptible to disease . Well, not that the crop is MORE susceptible, but that there is a great danger to the food supply when so much of the world's crop are ONE plant strain. If disease did strike...the lack of diversity could repreasent a big weakness.
