NFL (and fantasy) Football, Week 1! Let's discuss! →[More:]Chris Cooley better have a good game today, because Shockey is blowing up on my bench in one league. (I can tell it is going to be a terrible, horrible, no good very bad fantasy day in a couple of my leagues!)

Also, I now get the NFL Red Zone channel thanks to Comcast, and it is awesome!

I'd grouse about your zoob turtles and Peterson's big day, sishav, but 1) I have AD in another league and 2) Brees has 6 TDs today. Looks like it'll wind up being a tight matchup.

I just saw that Donovan McNab broke a rib, which immediately filled me with horror, because I thought that meant that the horrid Michael Vick would play next week. Evidently, he is still under suspension, he can practice but he can't play yet. Which is good, because I suspect that the asshole is going to get ripped limb to limb when he gets onto the field.

Michael Vick's suspension is lifted from next week. Main Line Animal rescue have offered a donation of 5 bags of dogfood to a D.C. animal shelter for every time he is tackled during the Redskins game on Oct 26.
I'd say break a leg Michael Vick, but people might think I was being nice ...

The ending to that Denver game was awesome. Orton was on the other end of that sort of thing when the Bears lost to the Falcons last year.

The Packers/Bears game had a pretty impressive ending too.

In fantasy terms, it was a mixed blessing for me as I had Greg Jennings and Jay Cutler on my roster.

I'm getting p0wned in the mefi league by Kaz. And probably gonna have the 2nd highest score in mecha, yet still get boned by rainbaby.

One week of free (directv) Sunday Ticket was a cool bonus though.

I have the low score in two of my leagues. But in the other, I beat my dear friend Occhiblu, so that's some consolation.

I really don't like who I become during fantasy football season.

dano, it sucks, we scored huge, it'll be a dam shame one of us has to loose. Plus, I stayed up to the bitter end last night, and I guess I'll be doing the same thing tonight. Outcome is still very much up in the air.

Mike9322 and I both have guys playing tonight. He will probably beat me (and he's winning right now), but if Brady has a good game and Moss a bad one, maybe the worm will turn.
