That is cool. I wonder if it will inspire any future artists who don't have the means to travel or are physically incapable of doing so.

Holy crap, these are great! And the google street view pic of the old lady trudging through a field of long grass is a work of art in and of itself.

This really is brilliant. He takes inspiration from the photos but his paintings improve on the source material. Even without the Google gimmick, they're really nice paintings.
