Does anyone know what happened to the Apostate? I really enjoyed her blog, and now it seems to be gone, and I don't know what happened.

The wayback machine says the site's blocked by the owner.

She was on my RSS feed, and there was never any "I'm leaving, here's why" post on her own site. I know she participated as a commenter on a number of other blogs, so I hoped maybe someone had seen comments elsewhere explaining why she poof-ed.

Hi, occhiblu!

Yes, I unlazed enough to dig up my login/pw (only to discover that FF saved them for me).

As for mecha freaking me out, I was playing to the crowd a little, you understand. But as I'm sure mecha folk know, this place has its own vibe, customs, traditions. This is good. I will continue to mostly just lurk,though, because I need another social site/online hangout even less than I need another hole in my head, and I dare not take the time to hang out and post and talk or I'll end up in irc and then I'll have no time for anything else.

Now I have to go, because a cat is demanding that I play fetch with him.
