Is it just me, or does Jerry Lewis just seem like the most unhappy, miserable man alive? Even when the man smiles there's something to it that looks like he's thinking "Once I'm home and away from all of these people, I'm going to have a drink and a pill and a nap and I may or may not shoot myself."

My brother the doctor saw Charo on TV a year or so ago and refused to believe it was her. "Impossible," he said, "she looks exactly the same." I tried to convince him, but he wouldn't hear it.

And yes, coochie, coochie. (I love Charo.)
