AUGH. Had to cut that short. Right as I started the post, the kind folk next to me pulled me into a game of Munchkin, which was a lot of fun. Great way to kill a line wait. And Wil Wheaton was incredible. He brings a really pleasant energy to his talks. Also, he signed my copy of Just a Geek AND we talked about NetHack. I was in nerd heaven.

The final Omegathon this year was Skee Ball. It's funny how into it everyone is. When the Omeganauts racking up their points, any 30 or 40 would get a huge cheer from the crowd. One of the contestants got a 50, and the place exploded.

It's funny that I have such qualms about the video game community (the general maturity level in online play or forums (though that could be said for most of the Internet), and that it's a general boyzone), but all of that washes away at PAX, and for three brief days, I forget about my crappy retail job and just have fun with some fellow nerds.

Anyways, enough of the sappy. Just wanted to see if anyone else hit it up.
