I was just reading a book about the Gallo brothers (second-rate mobsters, one of them immortalized in the Bob Dylan song 'Joey').

At one point, two of 'em testified before Congress about organized crime. They took the Fifth to every single question, including Sam Ervin's 'Can you boys tell us of an honest day's work you ever did in your life?'
