If memory serves, it had a bit of an art-house release. I could definitely be wrong, though.

Came out in 2001 and I think it had wide release. Can't imagine seeing it on a big screen, though. What a tedious, melodramatic film.

Again, imagining it as a John Waters "Pink Flamingos" type movie makes it a whole lot more fun to watch.

I think it was on cable, but it never played in a theater in NY. I wanted to see it, even with all the shitty buzz.
