What would be a good book for me to read, if [More:]I'm the sort of person who likes books like... ummm, Catcher in the Rye, Angela's Ashes, This boy's Life?
I've only read one of those (though I think I saw the movie version of 'This Boy's Life'). What do those books have in common?

If you liked Angela's Ashes, you'd probably like A Star Called Henry.

A Prayer For Owen Meany? It's the first thing that came to mind for Catcher in the Rye.

I'm also part of the Portnoy's Complaint Fan Brigade. I first read it in junior high, as your typical sex-obsessed 12 year old, and, uh, it was quite educational.

I recently reread it for the first time since then and it's still just as funny.

Arrowsmith, The Beautiful and the Damned, Generation X, Less than Zero, Bright Lights Big City

That ought to keep you busy.

I have a question about the phrase "The hell you say!" || OMG! High heeled bunny!
