What's to eat? Tuesdays are $.99 chili dogs at a place near my job. I take advantage of it far too often. Dog, chili, mustard, onions, kraut. Nom.

You?
Grilled burger, steamed potatoes, carrot and courgette... if they're still good.

I usually pack my lunch but when I forget there is this awesome taco truck where everything is delicious and cheap. tasty burrito + drink = $5

Lean Cuisine frozen entree and a salad from the cafeteria salad bar. (This would be true pretty much any day you asked.)

This week's lunches are: roasted garlic and olive oil couscous, plain chicken cooked in some olive oil, blasted broccoli, salad, and soda.

Mmmm. (I always bring my lunch because I'm cheap. And I hate having to drive up the street to go get lunch because that is just too much social interaction.)

I have some pot-roasted pork shoulder waiting for me at home, with sauerkraut, onions, and potatoes.

Whatever's in the pantry. I work at home and don't really get out for lunch. PBJ somedays. Turkey sandwich other days. Some days the hemlock pesto sounds good...

Sambal-lime marinated pork chops and chicken-stocked risotto. NOM.

Hemlock pesto is where it's at.

Rice with soy sauce, an apple, two tomatoes. Dieting. Non-nom.

Some leftover tofu with a thai red curry sauce, and some rice.

Or maybe leftover spaghetti.

(Last night I made #60, and added in some home-grown green beans, and then some lemon mayo.)

Highly recommended.

I had muesli soaked in fruit juice for breakfast, a pear and an apple while I was at work and dinner is the same as last night - lemon pepper turkey fillet with steamed carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. I might make cinnamon roast pineapple later, or maybe just have blueberries with yoghurt.

I usually have some dry overpriced sandwich for lunch. Today was ham and something. I've really got to get my shit together.

It's 12:40 p.m. here. I need food but have no clue what lunch is. Time to rummage in the cupboards.

Half a turkey and cheddar sandwich on lo-carb pita. I had the other half for breakfast. Healthy and tasty but I'd kill for some fries.

Pistachios and soda. Later chicken flautas. My college days' cheap lunch was microwaved ramen noodles with three or four banana peppers and a Pepsi. All told it cost about 75 cents, 50 of it being the soda.

Bratwurst sauerkraut mustard and an antacid.

Leftover sour-dough bread experiment #1 (moderate success), smoked salmon, and a green salad with garlic mayo, too much diced shallot (which is just the right amount) and some boiled egg chopped through it.

Later, onion-eaters remorse and some breath mints.

Packed lunch, but having it for breakfast. Strasbourg on a home-made roll. Yummy.
