Wait - just wait - until you get out west. If you've got a seat-back map, check out the difference between views at 90°W (Minnesota-Memphis-New Orleans) and 100°W (Middle of the Dakotas-southern tip of Texasish). Different planets!

At this point, we're near the Missouri/Kansas border. It's hard to believe that a couple of hours ago I was in Queens. I know, I know, modern air travel, whatta miracle, but I don't fly that much so it is kind of miraculous.

Actually we're somewhere between Wichita and Dodge City according to the seatback map, and we just got a cheese and fruit box and a Heineken. Virgin America kicks butt.
