Any bunnies sing the Austrian Yodeler song when they were a kid?[More:] This is pretty much the version I learned at camp, but I've discovered another that's more like "Found a Peanut".
Haha! Yeah! I almost posted here once because I wanted to try to get people to make up more verses / sound effects for that song. It's one of those ones you can extend pretty much indefinitely if you're so inclined.

That vaguely rings a bell...

(Ours always ended with 'a rifleman' (BANG BANG) and finally 'a bullet' (AARGH! [clutch chest and fall over]) interrupting his cry.)

Oh, yeah. I have a bizarrely large repertoire of camp songs. Learned that one in Girl Scouts.

I don't recall that one. I read the other day that Men At Work are being sued by a music publisher for allegedly stealing a riff from a song I remember well from Brownies and Guides - Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gum Tree. It was a song sung as a round, where one group starts, then the next group starts a line later and so on, and the melody all harmonises.

I remember being at Guide Camp once when I was about 11 or 12 and I started singing it, then everyone joined in and we all sang it as we cleared up after lunch. We changed the verse to say "David sits in the old oak tree" (He was the 8-year-old son of our guide leader and was at camp with us.) A (rare) happy memory from my childhood.

And who could ever forget "Gin-Gan-Gooly"!

The other side of the unrequited coin... || My lunch was good, but some of it ended up on my shirt and now I'm sad.
