I agree—that's a great Jack Handey sketch. Unfortunately, it aired during one of SNL's worst eras, in which they managed to completely waste the talents of people like Michael McKean, Mark McKinney, Chris Elliott, and Janeane Garofalo.

Not to be argumentative, but the greatest sketch on SNL...nay...the greatest sketch ever, was Vonda Braithwaite vs. Mephistopheles.
