I got new glasses! They are super-cute and make me super-happy, though I have not yet had the lenses put in so they don't make me see super-great. →[More:] But I love that the model on the linked page has the same chubby cheeks that I do, because my only instruction to the clerk who helped me pick them out was, "I need frames that work with my chubby cheeks; if the frames are too round, they tend to drag down my face." These are obviously the "chubby-cheek girl" eyeglasses.

I think those are very You.

You've got to watch out for lens-less frames, though, because by wearing them you make yourself vulnerable to all sorts of Three Stooges gags against which you'd otherwise be protected. So watch out, okay?

Not if she stands on her head. Most people can't bend down to reach their toes that quick. She'd at least get fair warning.

They're very cool.

I am cross this week, because getting new lenses put into my old frames is going to cost twice as much as getting a whole new pair of glasses. Hey, I don't need new glasses, I just have a new prescription, and I don't like policies that encourage waste.

So I might be getting new glasses too, even though I don't have time to go and choose them.

Yay, pink-glasses club!

Ikkyu2 saw my glasses and told me they were very pink. My co-workers saw my glasses and told me that they should be more pink. So I think the glasses may be just pink enough.
