If you live near a BevMo, I would highly encourage you to go buy this wine at their 5-cent sale. We had a bottle tonight, and I would have paid more than their standard retail for it, let alone half their standard retail →[More:]Fruitier than I expected from a cheap-ish French wine, but with a fair amount of structure. Yummy!

I'm not sure the dinner lived up to the wine :-) We had lamp chops, kale, and potatoes; next time, I might try it with roast chicken or maybe pork chops. I suspect it'd go very well with lighter grilled meats, as long as they weren't too "barbecue-y" (lots of sauce or charring), for lack of a better term.

Yes, that's a very tasty wine - had it at my wedding last summer. It did, in fact, go well with the roast chicken.
