It's sunny and gorgeous with a breeze and it stays light until 10.30pm and gets light at 3.30am and I want to go outside and it's homemade pizza night and I need wine because I had way too much caffiene and we have two dics full of BSG to watch come ON work day already!

If I were in Oregon, Dan, I'd be waking up to a glorious day of lounging, gardening, and cooking, since obviously I would have won the lottery and wouldn't have to get up to go to work.

Awww... Specklet-wuffles make up for everything.

Actually, not this time, because I asked my boss what time she wanted me to come in and she said 10 am. I was hoping she'd say noon.

And ya wanna know why I'm going to be here on Saturday working on this project? Because she didn't get the work to me until today.

And while I feel a little sympathetic because she does work hard and stay up as late as I do on stuff and she's going to miss out on celebrating her husband's birthday and Father's Day this weekend, I then start to feel less sympathetic because she's going to get $10K more than my current pre-tax salary on one upcoming deal. So far this year, she's closed two that are in a similar price range.

Grr. Need to call therapist this weekend, maybe.
