I love Washington state. Why would anyone want to live anywhere else?
Seriously, between this woman and Mr. Hands, it's a great place for animal lovers.

Our unofficial state motto is, Washington: There may not be an "I" in "TEAM," but there is an "I" in "LIVESTOCK."
"She was...told not to come within 100 feet of a rabbit..."

That sentence just cracked me up.

deborah, if you have a sensitive nature, please do not google "Mr. Hands".

Really.

I am sad about her freezer full of dead bunnies.

But it does sound like she briefly lived my dream of having a room completely filled with rabbits who would hop all over me.

"she found no rabbits when she finally got inside but did find a half-empty 10-pound bag of carrots." --Good detective work!

I was recently driving through southern Queensland, and was amused to see signs threatening fines of (IIRC) AUD30,000 for possession of (live) rabbits. I wonder if that's per rabbit...

Deeply weird. Too weird for one state to contain. I am glad, at least that she went north from Portland on I-5 rather than south.

My daughter, a few years ago, was baby sitting a geriatric bunny for some neighbors that were out of the country. One of her jobs was to make sure that the bunny was upright, in that it regularly had "I've fallen and can't get up" episodes.

The bunny died on her watch (it was very old. . and this was very sad). My wife and daughter put it in a box and put it in the freezer. They left a note to be read IMMEDIATELY upon entering the house. The neighbor was very moved by the sensitivity. . .the box became the coffin and the bunny went into his back yard grave.

Ah, Mr. Hands is that guy.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I went ahead and googled it. Or that I already knew about that ..um.. gentleman.

Hey, who doesn't like a few horse d'oeuvres, now and again?
Well, I, for one, am not surprised. || Google Stereotypes (tm)? Google Oracle (tm)?
