Apparently New Zealand is now "the safest place in the world" Huh.

Well, they say most accidents happen within a mile of home, and NZ is further than that for most of the people on earth.

You should probably avoid going there, though.

Plus, try dropping in on a local at Piha and see how peaceful at gets.

That's funny because when I went to NZ, I was first struck by the beautiful scenery and then by the insane people trying to jump off or zoom through everything in sight. The hills and rivers are like one big jungle gym/amusement park.
