1 is Garbage, 2 is right, muddgirl.
8 is Lightning Seeds, yep, the song is Sense.

I thought 7 might be "The Other Woman" by Ray Parker Jr. He wants to grab his guitar though, and play with it all night long. (I don't think gaspode is a Ray Parker Jr. fan, besides.) ;-)
