So, having watched Dr. Horrible's SIng-A-Long-Blog: I have a question. Is Nathan Fillion doing a direct Steve Martin from Little-Shop-Of-Horrors thing as Captain Hammer? Cause all the mannerisms are there, even down to the intonation and singing style.

I have never looked at it like that. Thinking of it in that way, I can see it now, and can even see Martin in that role. Martin is so seminal to today's humor that I can also see Fillion not being aware of it.

(The DVD just came today, which I got for the extras. Also the first season of The Guild, which was very iffy for me, watching on the net with my slow home connection.)
