I got the tele-ma-whatsis turned on. I can't believe how many commercials they show now. How do they get away with this crap?

Go for the educational PBS channels, if anything. Yes, there are still lame commercials of sorts, but at least they are local, judging from what we see here.

Ever since we got the digital channels, we've found a whole new network of cooking shows, when it wasn't children's programs.

I found my perfect apartment on my very first try! Ground floor, front, well within my budget, and I can even see my car in the parking lot!!! Also, it is in Waltham, so I even managed to stay east of I-95!!! Nice, quiet, established neighborhood; it's so 50s, I could cry I couldn't be happier. Well, actually I could be. No TV anywhere to be seen! Yay!
