He outright refuses to be photographed from the front most of the time, and will usually at best show me his haughty skogkatt profile if I attempt it. I think I managed to get this one by shooting while he was still half-asleep. Why do we love these ridiculous creatures so much? Why do they love us back?

I dunno, notquitemaryann, but your fellow is GORGEOUS. And displaying huge amounts of cattitude, to boot. How's he doing? You mentioned some of his problems on Twitter but I don't know his current status...

BP: he's neither very bad nor very good right now. Not really building anything up in a toxic or dangerous way, but also not going as he should, and probably still in pain- I'll see when I bring him home from the vet (where he's been the past several days) in a few hours. My hope is that things continue at a manageable level until I figure out how to fund the surgery that would probably help him. Or that things improve, but I can't really let myself expect that.

I need to hire you guys to come take pictures of him- you have some great shots here.
