That's pretty cool, but I'm (sort of) with the commenter who wonders about the load-bearing capacity of the roof, not to mention drainage.

I wondered that too but then I remembered that roofs in these parts are build to withstand several falls a year of two feet or so of wet snow and also additional weeks of thick crusted ice.
