I'm Free! I can finally start my new life and actually have a permanent home and a good bed again! I have been waiting five years for this day. So, all I gotta do is pack the car and I'm headed to Boston a week earlier than I had anticipated. Yay! →[More:]

Renovations in the gym meant changes in the rehab routine and no weights. I had three days left, but continuing didn't make much sense with the different objectives.

I will probably be out a ways from Boston itself to afford the rent, but definitely within an hour's drive. My perfect place would be a corner apartment over a downtown corner store in a small community, if such places exist anymore.

My first place though will probably just be a temporary room or studio for four months. Paying up front in full in cash (and offering to return my copy of the lease and receipt when I leave) for something like that widens my options, I would think. If you know what I mean. Suggestions on dealing along those lines would be much appreciated. If any MeCha landlords want to give me some advice offline, my email is in my profile. ;-)

Good luck! Boston's a great town, you'll love it. My sister lives there and I'm always tempted to apartment hunt whenever I go visit.
