Hey (hello) !!! What's your download speed? [More:]I was watching this programme on the BBC and they were saying that it's very bad in some parts of Britain--that's just wrong. It takes some poor kid a couple of minutes, like five, to sometimes log onto Facebook--how's he going to survive, god dammit, seriously! No, I'm really being serious here.

And the people up in Japan I think, have it like so much better. Even South Korea, and in China maybe, although I'm not sure. Here's the Broadband Speeds around the world from the BBC, and here's the Top Ten Countries with Internet Connection Speed. Oh, and India, humara Bharat Mahan (Hindi for our Country is Great) comes in a lowly 115 thanks to Latest Technology Trends... although it's not so bad in my place thank god--A couple of seconds and I'm onto Metafilter, Metachat, Twitter, Blogger and my Mail.

So, oh yeah, I had my First appointment with my Doctor yesterday, after about two months--he decreased it to once every two months--as apposed to once every one month before, so I was nervous before going to him, but I had nothing to fear, he gave me a good report.

He said my walking has improved, and I'm using the Heel now, instead of the Foot before, which I used to do. He's my Brain surgeon, the one who operated on the Brain Clot, so he's happy.

He's even decreased the medicine that used to make me sleep before, and now I can just get a sound sleep for six hours, instead of the 12 before.

And yeah, also THANK YOU all of you for bearing with me these past few days--it's been eight months since the accident, and I almost died, but I guess it wasn't my time yet--and there were some Angels watching over me, like you all, so I will always be grateful for that.

I was reading some mails before, and how you all touched me, so THANK YOU, it was just what I needed. May God, or who ever you believe in, or not, bless you.

And yeah, I'm going to include you all in my Memoir too. I wanted to post this, after completing the 4th chapter, and having sent it to various Publishers to see if it had enough teeth in it to get published, but I'll give you guys the beginning of Chapter 3, and Chapter 2. And the rest of Chapter three and four once it's completed. Thank you all.

I love you guys...

May God, or who ever you believe in, or not, bless you.
I agree with this sentiment and its precise phrasing quite wholeheartedly, but it's never going to be, like, a sampler you can buy at the Hallmark shop.

That sentiment is pretty close to the benediction that Unitarian University ministers often give at the end of service.

Wolfdog - maybe not in your neck 'o the woods, but I just bought a card at Hallmark yesterday that you could open and a little song would come out. Here are the lyrics:

May God, or who ever you believe in, or not, bless you!

Hopefully you've made your peace with Him, or It, or She!

This card is here after surgery, after funerals, to keep you from feeling blue!

And if you feel like God's a girl, an orange, or not even there at all, it's still a better place to be!

Oh, a singing card, sure. But a sampler?
posted by Wolfdog 27 May | 09:16
I'm making a sampler right now that says,

GOOD OR BAD
ALL IS LUCK

Hadjiboy, I'm glad you're alive and well to share your thoughts and feelings with us. Thanks.
