Have I mentioned lately that I am hooked on mango lassis? Especially now that Dole offers frozen mango chunks? Mango, yogurt, rice milk, yum.

I am terribly addicted to agua fresca this year. We just drank an entire pitcher of strawberry agua fresca. So I think Mango Lassi might kill me at this point with all the calories and richness, yum!

Yeah, the calories. I have to alter my recipe substantially from an actual lassi, using half the amount of fat-free yogurt and low-cal rice milk and no sugar whatsoever. I manage to get the right consistency by using frozen mango and make up for the lack of sugar by using more mango than usual. Also, apparently many lassis include salt, but I add none whatsoever.
