HAHA! This is completely True.

The lighting is either overbearing or unremittingly dim. Thanks to the camera-work, the girls look either acne-ridden, haggard or green. Their penthouse is shabby. Their photo-shoot sets are always labeled ‘urban’ but look like the scene of any number of sex-crimes.

This makes me want to see the Brit version now. :)

Yeah, when I saw the British version (on a Virgin Atlantic flight) I was surprised at how low budget it looked. And by how average the girls were. The American girls are weird looking but usually in that strong-featured modelly way.
But I agree with the writer that it was a little much to censor the brazilian bikini shoot. I mean, they did have some fabric on their asses, it's not like you really could have seen anything, and they were much to thin to have any jiggle back there.
