I got in! I just got my acceptance letter today, I'm officially returning to college!
Doohickie- UB (State University of NY at Buffalo for the non locals) for now, since that's where I went originally and I need to get my old GPA up before I can transfer- when I dropped out by way of not going anymore it left me with a 1.85. But, since I'm going for education I may transfer to Buffalo State College. They have a stronger program for education, UB doesn't even offer any secondary education undergrad degrees- only grad (although oddly, I'd most likely go there for my MA since they have secondary 5-12 instead of just 7-12, and it would make me qualified to teach middle/junior or high school).
I'm setting up an appointment with an academic adviser so I'm hoping they can provide some advice. I worry they might be all "no, no, stay at UB" since they'll be loyal to their own school, but it's worth checking into.
