What can I use this for? →[More:]
I'm a Good Eats fanatic, and for my birthday my friend bought me a salt cellar similar to Alton Brown's (except without the useful curvy handle, mine is straight, but I'm thinking of trying to bend it.... but that's another story).
She loaded it up with CitrusFreak12-related tiny cut out pictures and knick knacks and an old photo of us from about 8 years ago, with some long paper confetti stuff, it was adorable.

This is probably one of the most thoughtful gifts I've gotten in a long time, and I love the hell out of it.

Now my question is, what do I use it for? I don't cook enough (yet!) for it to be useful just holding kosher salt.

During a party at my dorm a few friends found it, examined it, and had an honest to god "you put your weed in there" conversation. It WOULD make a classy container for such a substance, or for pipe tobacco, but I don't smoke either, so there goes that.

So, MeChazens, I ask you: What can I use it for?

How about as a catch-all for small desk-related things (i.e. paper clips, stamps, thumb tacks, etc.)?

If this were the 70s, I would store my coke in it. My friend worked in the psych department pharmacy, we always had lots of coke.

Ha, you just reminded me about my friend's PhD project, ardiril. He synthesized MDMA for 4 years. oh yeah.

I forgot to add that I would save up that spare change to buy drugs to store in the container. :)

I personally would put dark-chocolate-covered espresso beans in it, as I cannot afford coke.
