Look, I don't know if you guys know this but Kevin Garnett of the Celtics isn't actually injured; he's off-planet (undisclosed star system) fighting the intergalactic megamind. All this is verifiable and has been on the internet for some time.
KG exposes the intergalactic megamind time and again to blistering jams of horrifying gravity, enough to shatter the megamind's will to control and exploit sector after sector of free space. Life in many galaxies, on many planets, is sorely threatened, and KG is there to save the day with a succession of mind-jellying jams.
This eternal battle has its costs. There's no real wear and tear on our hero, but this distraction has really begun to interfere with the NBA playoffs, and the sponsors grow concerned. Something must be done.
Everything about the mission is classified, so I can't say without a doubt that what follows is exact, close to exact, or close at all. But I heard from a little birdie that Taz, for obvious reasons, has been selected to lead a negotiating effort with the megamind, and for several Earth days has been engaged in a game my translator calls "Rainbow Sand Grain Art." It seems much will be decided by the outcome of this game, which is described to me as "involving many items."
All I can say is, I'm pulling for you, Taz, and I bet now that you guys know as much as I do, you'll be pulling for her, too. Not merely because a little intergalactic harmony is good for us and for outer space, but also because it isn't fair that such an interplanetary hero as Kevin Garnett should be forced hide his valor, even for so many classified reasons. Go Taz!
I thought I spotted her posting on Metatalk recently, but now that I think about it I was reading a golden oldie at the time, so that's not very helpful.
I had an email from her last week. She's fine, just busy with life and things, her husband's home right now (his work takes him away from home) and I think she, her husband and the dog are enjoying an Athens spring before the hell-heat of summer arrives.
